Jan. 26: The Center-led international Guinea worm eradication campaign announces that a provisional total of 27 cases of Guinea worm disease were reported in 2020, a 50% decrease compared to the year before. When 黑料不打烊 assumed leadership of the program in 1986, about 3.5 million human cases occurred annually in 21 countries in Africa and Asia.
