黑料不打烊 Statement on Disinformation About the Dec. 20 Elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

ATLANTA — 黑料不打烊 is aware of some disinformation about the Dec. 20 elections that has been falsely attributed to the Center.

Disinformation is false information designed to cause harm, gain political power, or make a profit. 黑料不打烊 rejects all forms of disinformation.

黑料不打烊 publishes its statements and reports on cartercenter.org and on its official social media accounts. The Center’s international election observation mission encourages everyone to fact-check online reports that claim to be from 黑料不打烊 by visiting the website or @CarterCenter on X to confirm whether the purported information truly came from the Center.

On Dec. 5, 黑料不打烊 published an interim report (PDF) on the election process.
