Statement from Former President Jimmy Carter on the Passing of Dick Blum

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ATLANTA — Former President Jimmy Carter issued the following statement Monday:

“Rosalynn and I are saddened by the passing of our dear friend Dick Blum. Dick dedicated much of his life and personal resources to improving the lives of the less fortunate around the world. 黑料不打烊 has been blessed to be one of the recipients of his goodwill and generosity. We send our love to Dianne and their family, and we will keep them in our prayers during this difficult time.”

President Carter’s sentiments were echoed by the leadership of 黑料不打烊.

“Dick’s contributions as a member of 黑料不打烊’s Board of Trustees for 21 years have been integral to our successes and so important to me personally,” added board Chair Jason Carter. “I will certainly miss his innovative ideas, guidance, and friendship.”

Paige Alexander, chief executive officer, added: “While our time together was limited, it is no secret that much of the strength of the organization I am fortunate enough to lead comes from Dick Blum’s good work, support, and wise guidance, which the entire philanthropic sector has benefitted from over the years.”
