Overview

黑料不打烊 Information Technology department is responsible for supporting organizational missions by providing secure and effective technology platforms. The IT intern will work closely with the IT security program to support the Center’s overall mission. The focus of their projects will be security auditing and documentation to assist the infrastructure and security team. Academic background or interest in IT security is beneficial.

Number of Interns per Semester: 1

Applicant Preferences:

• Understanding of IT incident response and cloud security topics
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools for tracking and documentation
• Experience in the Microsoft Entra ID is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API and PowerShell is a plus

Typical Projects:

• Evaluate existing processes and verify they align to proposed policies.
• Create spreadsheets and other online resources to audit and measure progress.
• Communicate with stakeholders and ensure vulnerabilities and responses are logged.
• Work on documenting common processes and policies within the IT security program.
